the Karnataka school Education Board (KSEB) is going to conduct the  Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 on 15th March 2020. Karnataka TET 2020 Exam overview

Full Exam Name: Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KAR TET).
Administered by: School Examination Board, Government of Karnataka.
Exam Category: Professional Exam.
Exam Language: English.
Paper: Two (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
Exam Marks: 150 for Each Paper.
Exam Location: Karnataka.

All questions in KARTET test will be of 150 Multiple Choice Questions
(MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives. Out of which one
answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of KARTET.

KARTET 2019-20 exam is divided into Paper I and Paper II. Candidates aspiring to become Primary Teachers must appear for Paper I. On the other hand, candidates willing to become upper primary teachers must appear for Paper-II. Candidates with relevant educational qualification can apply for Paper I and II. The exam pattern of Karnataka TET 2019 can be checked below.

Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII

Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and
classes VI to VIII) will have to appear for both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Duration of examination: Two-and-a-half hours.

Paper-II (for teaching classes VI to VIII)
Duration of examination – Two-and-a-half hours
