Haryana Civil Services New Exam Pattern 2020

Many major changes made in the pattern of Haryana Civil Services Examination, there will be two papers in the prelims, there will be negative marking.

Haryana Civil Services New Exam Pattern: The Khattar government has amended the ‘Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) Rules 2008’. It will now be known as Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) Amendment Rules 2020. According to the new rules, there will be two papers of 100-100 numbers in the state civil services prelims exam. Both papers will be objective type. The duration of both will be 2-2 hours. A quarter mark (0.25) will be deducted for each wrong answer.

According to the official spokesperson, as per the new rules, now in the first paper of the prelims exam of Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch), questions related to General Studies (existing and notified syllabus) will be asked, while in the second paper (Civil Services Aptitude Test) Comprehension, Inter-Personal Skills, Communication Skills, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Decision Making, Problem Solving, General Mental Ability, Basic Numeracy, Order of Magnitude (up to 10th), Data Interpretation (chart up to 10th level, graph, table, data Succession questions will be asked. In order to pass the exam, the candidate has to score at least 33 percent in the second paper.

The spokesman said that the results of the prelims will be released only on the basis of performance in Paper-1. That is, Paper-2 will be qualifying only.
